Delhi Public School Budaun successfully conducted *Rendezvous 2.0*, an online interactive programme under the "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat" initiative, with Delhi Public School, Coimbatore on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. The event was a vibrant display of cultural diversity and unity, with students from both schools showcasing the rich heritage of their respective states.
The programme began with an introduction from both schools, setting a collaborative and enthusiastic tone for the event. Students from Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu performed traditional dances, reflecting the cultural essence of their states. In addition to the performances, participants exchanged valuable information about their states, enhancing mutual understanding and appreciation.
A lively Q&A session followed, where students posed insightful questions to each other, fostering an environment of curiosity and learning. The interaction highlighted the importance of cultural exchange in building stronger ties between different regions of the country.
Ms. Shubhra Pande, Principal of Delhi Public School,Budaun, blessed the students and praised their efforts in fostering collaboration and communication. She emphasized the significance of such initiatives in promoting unity in diversity. Ms. Maheshwari Natarajan, Head of School at Delhi Public School, Coimbatore, was equally impressed by the initiative and commended both teams for their dedication and enthusiasm.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Rajeev Samanto, Vice Principal of Delhi Public School,Budaun. He extended an invitation to the staff and students of Delhi Public School Coimbatore to visit Uttar Pradesh, expressing a desire to host them and further strengthen the bonds of friendship and cultural exchange.
